Seeing a crescent moon always reminds me of Lewis Carrol’s classic “Alice in Wonderland”. That smile dipping into the Eastern sky is so familiar! I love imagination, and utilizing it to it’s fullest. As adults, sometimes we forget to do this.
When was the last time you laid down in the grass and made the clouds into animals? When was the last time you just gazed at the stars, away from the city lights, and imagined travelling light years away on some Star Trek like voyage? When was the last time you wandered through the woods, just to be walking alone? When was the last time you listened to that still, small voice in your heart? Was it singing a song, saying some profound thing, or just bringing you assurance that everything would be all right?
Take time for your imagination. And the next time the crescent moon catches your eye, smile back at the cat!
